1 Million Cycles

It sounds like a pretty amazing statement to make but our products really are designed to operate for up to 1 million cycles. We thought that it might be useful to explain how this came about.

Several years ago OneClick was approached by The Energy Saving Trust and The Market Transformation Programme. The MTP supports the development and implementation of UK Government policy on sustainable products. www.mtprog.com

They challenged us to design a mains controller that was Auto Calibrated, robust, complied with British Standards, used only a tiny amount of power in standby and would work for a minimum of fifteen years. That’s no small task, nothing on the market at that time even nearly achieved these targets so we set to work.

We recognised that the problem with most electronic equipment was the inability to cope with the peaks and troughs in the electricity supply. Switching on equipment when the flow of electricity is at its peak causes wear and tear to the components within the system, in order for any product to have longevity it was important to eliminate the stresses caused by the peaks and troughs in the energy cycle.

That’s why we have developed our unique Zero Crossing Detection, our products will only switch your equipment on when the flow of electricity is not at its peak, therefore increasing the longevity of both the IntelliRange and your equipment. We also recognised that by using the highest quality components within our range we could also help to extend product lifespan.

It took 3 years before our IntelliRange was ready to present to the public, those 3 years taught us a lot. We know what works (and what doesn’t), we’ve developed new patented technology and we’ve pushed the boundaries of development and proved it can work. We developed through hard work and sheer determination a product most people thought would be impossible.

There is still nothing on the market today that rivals the OneClick IntelliRange.
