Peripherals

"Peripheral" refers to any peice of equipment which supports a master device, for example: a computer is regarded as a 'master device' whilst a monitor, printer, scanner, speakers, sub-woofer and games consoles are all regarded as peripherals.

Alternativley, a television can be regarded as a 'master device' whilst a subwoofer, DVD player, video recorder and surround sound amplifier may also be regarded as peripherals.
