Peripherals

Peripheral refers to any piece of equipment which supports a master device, for example:
A computer is regarded as a Master Device whilst a monitor, printer, scanner, speakers, sub-woofer and games consoles are all regarded as peripherals.

Alternatively, a television can be regarded as a Master Device whilst a subwoofer, DVD player, video recorder and surround sound amplifier can also be regarded as peripherals.
