Administration Assistant
The Role:
A wide variety of tasks including supporting our various departments within the company.
Duties will include, processing orders, data entry, customer service, reception duties, collating information and general administrative duties.
Will best suit candidates with a proven track record in sales, admin, customer service and account management.
The Candidate should be able to meet the following requirements:
- A high standard of customer service.
- Courteous telephone manner.
- Clearly demonstrate written and verbal communication to a high standard at all levels.
- Balance workloads and manage multitasks.

Qualifications/ Experience:
- Previous office based work experience.
- Be proficient in the use of word and excel
- Possibly have experience with Sage Accounting.

Design/ Development Engineer
The Role:
To primarily support the development and design of a variety of projects including innovative energy saving devices.
The Candidate:
The successful applicant will be responsible for the development of bespoke electronics and generic solutions that involve all aspects of product development from generation of specifications to qualifications testing.
Qualifications/ Experience:
Applicants should possess the following technical skills:
- A Degree level qualification in Electronics Engineering or Physics.
- Qualifications/ Experience of PCB design layouts.
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of basic electronics.
- Preferred thorough knowledge and experience in the field of embedded electronics and programming.
- The ability to troubleshoot exisiting designs.
- A working knowledge of statistical evaluation and experience in conducting capability studies and statistical assessments of test data.
- The ability to write clear and unambiguous test reports and supporting documentation.
- Additionally you will have demonstrable knowledge of standard development processes (e.g. design, coding, unit testing).
In addition to the applicants should preferably:
- Have a keen enthusiasm of electronics.
- Be equally comfortable working individual or as part of a team
- Be able to clearly communicate ideas to all levels of the organisation.
- Possess a confident personality and a strong desire to succeed whilst being imaginative and conscientious

Technical Assistant/ Technician
The Role:
Supporting Design Engineering staff to produce development tools, building and testing prototypes and help develop test systems for in-house and production line use.
Possible Tasks:
Applicants may be required to:
- Hand soldering of surface mount components.
- Use of electronic test equipment
- Electronic testing of customer returned units. Fault finding and repair.
- Reporting and documenting manufacturing faults.
- Maintaining the customer returns database.
- Answering customer technical enquiries and issues and solving customer problems.
- Checking and validating components and sample assemblies from the manufacturers.
- Maintaining the manufacturing samples database.
- Writing test procedures
- Maintaining the engineering problem and change notification and documentation system.
- Maintaining and organizing the internal component stock. Ordering of components.
