Re-set procedure CSIMP205

If you have found that your Desktop IntelliPanel™ is switching your peripherals and Master Device off without any instruction from you or if they switch off after only a few moments, don’t worry the panel isn’t faulty it just needs to re-calibrate itself.

In order to calibrate your panel just follow the simple steps below.
In order that we may help you further, we would be grateful if you would follow the step by step start-up/test procedures and respond with the outcome:

1. Switch OFF the mains supply to the plug at the wall socket.
2. Disconnect the computer from the master socket.
3. Plug in a 60W table lamp into the master socket.
4. Switch ON the mains supply to the plug at the wall socket.
5. Ensure that the table lamp is OFF.
6. Wait at least 10 seconds.
7. Confirm that the red LED on the plug stays OFF.
8. Switch the table lamp ON.
9. Wait at least 10 seconds.
10. Confirm that the red LED on the plug turns ON.
11. Switch the table lamp OFF again.
12. Wait at least 10 seconds.
13. Confirm that the red LED on the plug turns OFF.

1. Switch OFF the mains supply to the plug at the wall socket.
2. Unplug the table lamp from the last procedure.
3. Plug in the computer to the master socket.
4. Wait 10 seconds.
5. Switch ON the mains supply to the plug at the wall socket.
6. Ensure that the computer is in an OFF state.
7. Wait at least 10 seconds.
8. Switch the computer ON, wait for it to fully boot up.
9. Wait 10 seconds.
10. Shut down the PC.
11. Wait at least 10 seconds.
12. Power the computer back ON.
13. Wait for the computer to boot up fully.
14. Confirm that the red LED on the plug has come ON.
15. Turn OFF the computer (not to sleep mode but fully shut down).
